The Stanley Recreation Club is located at 398 E. Brevard Drive in Stanley, NC. The Stanley Recreation Club is a non-profit formed in 1964 to provide a safe, family-friendly environment during the summer to play and cool off. The main pool is 190,000 gallons with two sections; a lap pool and a 12' diving well.
In addition to the main pool there is also a gated baby pool that is approximately 1′ deep.
Certified lifeguard(s) are on duty during regular operating hours. The baby pool is not monitored by a lifeguard.
The Stanley Pool is also the proud home of the Stanley Sharks swim team. This is a for fun, family oriented friendly swim competition team. The coaches teach competition and swimming skills. Sign up for the swim team here
Stanley Pool Members may rent the facility for birthday parties and other events. Please see the Pool Rental page for rates and more information.
